If I’m being honest with you, I have to say my favorite memories at Walt Disney World include watching parades (if you want to learn more about that, click here)! I just love the entertainment at Disney Parks, and from daytime to nighttime parades, I always have to watch. They never get old to me! I love the music and often listen to the instrumental soundtracks while I’m studying at school or getting ready at home. I’m also just in awe of how the performers perform in such extreme conditions in the Florida heat.
On my last trip in late August of last year, I watched Festival of Fantasy in Magic Kingdom many times. On one particular afternoon, it was SO hot, but I needed to get outside and shoot some pictures. However, it was melting like Olaf the snowman in summer hot! I hopped off the train, grabbed a Mickey bar, and sat on the porch of the Town Square Theatre (for some shade), and waited patiently for the parade to make its way to me. As I saw the banner approaching and the music began blaring through the speakers, I knew it was time to brave the heat and start snapping some pictures. I commend everyone in entertainment.
Here are some pictures from that very warm afternoon:
